14U Elite – Guidelines and Procedures
Registration Info
- 9th Grade 15 year olds are eligible to play (except for out of state post season tournaments)
- Registration per player is
- Online registration ONLY.
- All equipment and uniforms provided by the Ute Conference.
- 14u Elite Championships teams will have the option to travel to AYF National Tournaments at the players expense (except for 15 year old players.)
High School Rules
- No weight limits.
- No 10 play rule.
- Games played on Saturdays.
- Number of hitting minutes per week for safety as implemented through High Schools.
All players under 14 years old must try out.
- No boundary restrictions! Coaches can recruit players from anywhere.
- Teams must be formed and registered by July 15th.
- Players that do not make the team will return to their home district boundaries.
- 24 to 30 players per team.
- Practices begin on July 29th.
Coaching
- Anyone is welcome to be a head coach as long they can pass the background check and be USA certified.
- Coaching staffs assembled by head coaches.
- All coaches must be background checked and USA certified.
